Anduril Sword of King Elessar - Unlimited Edition

Anduril Sword of King Elessar - Unlimited Edition
Narsil/Anduril are perhaps the most famous swords in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. At the end of the second age of Middle-earth, Narsil's blade was shattered, as Elendil fell during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle against Sauron, creating the Shards of Narsil. Isildur, Elendil's son, then used the broken hilt of Narsil to cut The One Ring from Sauron's finger, breaking the bonds of his power, banishing his evil shadow into the darkness. The Shards were kept in Rivendell, the house of Elrond, for safe keeping. Legend told that the sword would one day be reforged and the king would return. In the New Line Cinema film, The Return of the King, Anduril was reforged from the Shards of Narsil for Aragorn by elvensmiths in Rivendell. Elrond said of the legendary blade, The man who can wield the power of this sword can summon to him an army more deadly than any that walk this earth. The inscription down the length of the blade on both sides is in the Tolkien language of uenya, written in the runes of Eregion, that say N‡ny Andœril i nŽ Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i m‡li Mord—r‘o. This translates to I am Andœril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me. The blade inscription features runes framed by stylized symbols of the Sun and the Moon, which represent An‡rion and Isildur, the sons of Elendil, and seven symbolic stars that represent Elendil, who died wielding Narsil in battle against Sauron. Inscribed on the pommel are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say Narsil essenya, macil meletya; Telchar carneron Navarotesse. This translates to Narsil is my name, a mighty sword; Telchar made me in Nogrod.

Fighting Knives Of Legolas

Fighting Knives Of Legolas
An ancient race of Middle-earth, Elves are noble, elegant and magical beings in harmony with the natural world and its forces. Legolas Greenleaf, a Sindarin Elf of the Woodland Realm, was sent to Rivendell as a messenger and took part in the Council of Elrond, where he was chosen to represent the Elves in the Fellowship of the Ring. Legolas, who possesses keen senses, is an expert archer and master with Elven fighting knives, which he carried on his back in scabbards on either side of his quiver. He proved to be a valuable asset to the Fellowship as they journeyed into territories of evil. In keeping with the natural harmony of the Elves, Legolas Fighting Knives have a flowing organic design, are adorned with Elven vine motifs, and the blades feature a very detailed filigree etch.

HERUGRIM - SWORD OF KING THEODEN

HERUGRIM - SWORD OF KING THEODEN
King Theoden, courageous soldier and leader of the land of Rohan, fell under the power of the wizard Saruman through the slithering machinations of his servant Grima. Only through the intervention of Gandalf the White was Theoden exorcised of Sarumans corrupting influence. Gandalf said to Theoden, Your fingers would remember their old strength better if they grasped your sword, and at that moment Theodens mind cleared, his authority as king returned to him, and his great sword, Herugrim was once more returned to his grasp. Theoden went on to lead the defense of Helms Deep and the charge of the Rohirrim to the aid of Gondor and against the hordes of the enemy that assailed the White City. The hope of all Men and Free Peoples then lay in the defense of Minas Tirith.

The Staff of Saruman

The Staff of Saruman
Saruman (also known as Saruman the White), once the head of the Council of the White, was the wisest and most powerful of that Order. Saruman had great power over Men's minds and great skill in his hands, and he was especially knowledgeable about the lore of the Elven-rings and the devices of Sauron. He fell into darkness when he delved too deep into the study of his enemy's ways. He became the chief adversary of the free people of Rohan. Eventually he created an army of Uruk-Hai, grotesque fighting creatures, to attack the Fellowship and gain ÒThe One RingÓ so he could replace Sauron as "The Lord of the Rings". Saruman possessed a very powerful wizard's staff. It was completely black with many flanges arrayed around a central crystal which resided in its crown.

This authentically detailed staff is a reproduction of the one carried by Saruman and prominently featured in "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy presented by New Line Cinema. United Cutlery Brands, industry leader in fine movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual prop staff using the finest grade materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality available. Close attention to quality is a top priority in every piece. This towering staff, with an overall length of 76-1/8", is constructed of solid metal and the crown cradles a leaded glass crystal ball with frosted etch pattern. Each staff is presented with an antique iron finished wall mount with embossed designs.

The Staff of Gandalf the White

The Staff of Gandalf the White
Gandalf (also known as Gandalf the Grey and later as Gandalf the White) is an old, but powerful wizard who was an important influence at the Council of Elrond, since he knew the power "The One Ring" possessed and the evil the Dark Lord Sauron could do if he recovered it. He joined Frodo and the other selected members of the Fellowship as they crossed Middle-earth in their quest to destroy the ring. In "The Fellowship of the Ring", Gandalf the Grey carried an old wooden staff, which also housed his pipe, but it was lost when he was captured by Saruman in Isengard. After Gandalfs escape he possessed a new staff but it too was lost when he was slain in Khazad-dum, while defending his companions from the Balrog. In "The Two Towers", Gandalf was sent back to Middle-earth as Gandalf the White, and to complete his task he was given a new white staff to aid in the battle to defeat Sauron. The staff was adorned with an intricate and delicately styled crown that held a great power. Gandalf released King Theoden from Saruman's influence with the aid of this magical staff. Next to his trusty sword Glamdring, the white staff was Gandalf's chief weapon.

Hadhafang - Sword of Arwen

Hadhafang - Sword of Arwen
Arwen's sword is called Hadhafang which means Throng-cleaver. It once belonged to the Elven princess Idril, who wed a mortal man and bore Earendil, the father of Elrond who in turn was father to Arwen. Before Arwen's birth Elrond wielded Hadhafang at the end of the second age of Middle-Earth, during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle against Sauron. Later his daughter Arwen used Hadhafang when she aided Frodo in his escape from the Ringwraiths. Inscribed on the blade are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say aen estar Hadhafang i chathol hen, thand arod dan i thang an i arwen. Which translates to this blade is called Hadhafang, a noble defense against the enemy throng for a noble lady. The original inscription included the last line Idril i hel en aran Gond dolen, which translates to Idril, daughter of the king of the Hidden Rock (Gondolin). It was dropped from the finished prop due to a lack of space. There is an intentional pun in the inscription Ð the Sindarin translation of noble lady is arwen, so in effect, the blade claims to be for Arwen, even though it was made for her grandmother.
